He often gets asked about his gear, about the camera, the tripods and even the filters. Six months ago Leofoto gave Harry a selection of tripods for workshops and personal use. He used the Mountain LN-364C and Ranger LS-234C + LH-40 ballhead during a rigorous and long test.
As a landscape photographer, he spends a lot of time on the coast, around the broads and the wild East Anglian countryside. The main three things he always takes with him and relies on constantly are his camera body, camera lens and most importantly a tripod to assures him that his camera won’t fall to it’s peril. The bag which he religiously relies on is around 32kg which is quite large, and adding anything more to this is quite stressful really.
A luxury for landscape photographers
The Leofoto Mountain LN-364C is around 700g lighter than his previous tripod. This is a luxury for landscape photographers due to the sheer boundaries that come with having a large amount of gear. Light gear is more comfortable to carry, especially with all of the steep hills and muddy fields that litter East Anglia (slight exaggeration).
Durable, stable and friendly
The fact that the Mountain LN-364C is durable, stable and have friendly ergonomics are the things Harry likes the most. He thinks that the Ranger-234C + LH-40 Ballhead is extremely travel friendly, has good stability considered the size and is very ergonomically friendly.
