This silver ¼-inch threaded mount (QDM-1) can be used in combination with a Quick Release strap from Leofoto. The QDM-1 has a ¼-inch thread to attach in the accessory screw hole of a tripod. You can use an Allen key to tighten it a little more so that it is secure. After that you can easily click the quick release mechanism (QD-1) of the strap into the QDM-1 mount.The QDM-1 mount is a quick release mechanism.

With a Leofoto Quick Release straps for ¼-inch thread, a QDM-1 mount is supplied as standard. By attaching this mount to your tripod, you can easily attach the carrying strap to your tripod. By pressing the button marked with the word 'push', the strap is released. The compact design of the mount means that after using the Quick Release strap, you can simply leave it on your tripod for the next time.
