Leofoto SOAR SO-322C Inverted tripod with inverted leg segments

The SO-322C carbon tripod is part of the Leofoto Inverted tripod series. Installation of these tripods is lightning fast due to the unique legs and they offer great ease of use. The inverted leg segments keep it stable under the most demanding conditions. The SO-322C reaches a maximum working height of 169 cm. In contrast, the minimum working height of this tripod is only 13 cm, which is fine for working low to the ground. Despite its light weight of only 1.88 kilograms, it has a carrying capacity of 30 kilograms.

The carbon tripod legs

The SO-322C tripod is made of 10-layer carbon and black anodized aircraft aluminum. This choice of material provides a perfect balance of strength and light weight. This tripod has two leg segments where the top leg segment has a diameter of 32mm and the second segment has a diameter of 36mm. The inverted legs increase stability compared to a regular tripod. The Twist-Lock twist locks are located in an easy to operate location due to the inverted system. The legs are easy to adjust: you turn the legs loose or tight with just one hand movement. Because this tripod can carry up to 30 kilograms, it is extremely suitable for shooting sports, huge telescopes and surveillance or camera equipment, for example.

Inverted Series

The tripods from the Leofoto Inverted Tripod Series distinguish themselves by their enormous stability and, of course, the inverted extending tripod legs. In addition, they have a 75mm wide, removable tripod plate, but have no center column. Thus, vibrations are kept to a minimum and they are very sturdy. In addition, they all come with half-bowl, making them suitable for mounting a video head. Optionally, a center column is available to increase the maximum working height. On the sides and bottom of the stand plate there are UNC 3/8 screw holes to which a magic arm or smartphone can be attached.
