With a special design for non-centre column tripods, the compact weight hook allows the shooter to hang weight from the bottom of the tripod, adding mass and increasing stability.
Leofoto HK-01 Tripod Weight Hook
The HK-01 hook can be mounted on any Leofoto tripod that does not have a centre column. These include the Ranger and Summit series. At the bottom of the tripod plate (the middle piece) is a ¼-inch screw hole to which you can attach it. The hook can be used to hang a counterweight or bag that you don't want to put on the ground. The hook has no effect on the folding of the tripod.
