Leofoto LPC-7DN Combo L-plate for Canon 7D camera body

The solid Leofoto LPC-7D L-plate for the Canon EOS 7D dslr camera is very strong yet lightweight. The base plate and the L-plate are screwed together with socket screws and they are CNC machined from a single piece of black anodized aluminum for high durability. As a result, there is no more metal present than necessary while the Combo L-plate loses none of its strength.

Combo L-plate is Arca-Swiss compatible

Leofoto has provided the LPC-7D with V-shaped Arca-Swiss quick coupling grooves and therefore this L-Plate is Arca-Swiss compatible for both horizontal and vertical use. The L-Plate measures 108mm x 52mm x 88mm and weighs only 120 grams. You can change batteries when the L-Support is mounted under your Canon EOS 7D, as Leofoto has made openings in the L-Support for access to the battery door and cable ports. You can also attach a wrist strap to the special eye on the base plate.

An L-Bracket for ease of use

An L-plate or L-bracket can maximize the stability and ease of use of your camera on a ballhead when changing from a horizontal (landscape) to a vertical (portrait) shooting position. Thanks to the L-bracket, the optical axis of the lens is always positioned directly over the centre of the ball when shooting portraits, and the camera weight also presses directly on the central axis of the ballhead. The Arca-Swiss quick-release coupling also allows you to shift the camera on the ballhead for perfect positioning in relation to the subject. Leofoto supplies specially adapted L-plates for specific camera models, both for DSLR cameras and for compact system cameras and digital compact cameras. As soon as new cameras appear on the market, Leofoto designs a new L plate for that special camera model.
