Combo L plate for Canon 70D
Our camera plates are Arca-Swiss compatible and have anti-twist flanges for dedicated mating. Each L-plate has been customised to adapt to a specific camera, ensuring that it is secured but doing so in a way that does not impede access to its controls. L-plates have the added advantage of being dovetailed along both the vertical and horizontal axes, which means switching orientation between portrait and landscape is easy. The sliding grooves provided along both axes also make it easy to position the camera directly over the tripod’s centre of gravity for optimal stability.
Leofoto LPC-70D Combo L-plate for Canon 70D camera body
The solid Leofoto LPC-70D Combo L plate for the Canon EOS 70D dslr camera is very strong yet lightweight. The base plate and the L-plate are CNC machined from a single piece of aluminum and black anodized for high durability. This makes the Combo L-plate extremely strong yet lightweight. Leofoto has provided the LPC-70D with V-shaped grooves, which makes this Combo L-Plate Arca-Swiss compatible for both horizontal and vertical use. The dimensions of the Combo L plate are 107mm x 45mm x 85mm and it weighs only 108 grams. You can change batteries and connect cables when the L plate is mounted under your Canon EOS 70D, because Leofoto has designed it with battery covers and cable connections in mind. You can also attach a wrist strap to the special eye on the base plate.
An L-Bracket for ease of use
An L-plate or L-bracket can maximize the stability and ease of use of your camera on a ballhead when changing from a horizontal (landscape) to a vertical (portrait) shooting position. Thanks to the L-bracket, the optical axis of the lens is always positioned directly over the centre of the ball when shooting portraits, and the camera weight also presses directly on the central axis of the ballhead. The Arca-Swiss quick-release coupling also allows you to shift the camera on the ballhead for perfect positioning in relation to the subject. Leofoto supplies specially adapted L-plates for specific camera models, both for DSLR cameras and for compact system cameras and digital compact cameras. As soon as new cameras appear on the market, Leofoto designs a new L plate for that special camera model.
